Freelance Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a respected main construction contractor to oversee a new‑build project within the leisure/accommodation sector. The scheme runs from October through to April and requires strong site leadership, programme control and consistent quality management. Role Responsibilities * Daily management of site operations, subcontractors and trades * Driving programme, sequencing and short‑term planning * Managing scheduling, look‑ahead planning and coordinating daily/weekly progress * Handling site‑level purchasing, materials call‑offs and ensuring timely deliveries * Overseeing external works, internal fit‑out, M&E coordination and associated civils * Ensuring full compliance with H&S standards, RAMS, inductions and permits * Liaising with visiting PMs, client reps and design teams * Managing QA processes, snagging and handover documentation Candidate Requirements * Experience delivering projects in the accommodation sector; background in hotels or apartment schemes is a strong advantage * Strong organisational and communication skills * SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS * Ability to maintain high safety and quality standards while keeping programme on track Package * Up to £350/day CIS * October – April contract By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website For more information, please contact George French at Elvet Recruitment
