On the lookout for a talented Ocean Import Operator to join our industry leading freight forwarding client in Felixstowe .

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong export operations experience who enjoys managing shipments end-to-end and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing full-cycle ocean import shipments
• Coordinating bookings with shippers, hauliers, and carriers
• Preparing import documentation and customs paperwork
• Tracking shipments and providing proactive customer updates
• Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations
• Handling invoicing, rates, and operational administration

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in ocean import freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
• Experience using freight forwarding systems is advantageous
