Full Stack Developer - Blockchain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer with experience in blockchain technologies to join their hybrid team in Nottingham . You will be instrumental in building and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of our decentralized applications and platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of modern web development practices, databases, and the ability to integrate these with blockchain functionalities. You'll work on diverse projects, contributing to the full development lifecycle and helping to bring innovative blockchain solutions to life in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and APIs for blockchain applications.
• Build engaging and responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Integrate frontend applications with blockchain networks and smart contracts using relevant libraries.
• Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the entire technology stack.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Go, or Java.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts and experience integrating with Web3 technologies (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
