Functional Skills Tutor - CH3, Chester
Location: CH3, Chester
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: £25-£30 per hour+
TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Chester.
The Role
Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition in English and/or Maths .
Plan lessons according to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.
Adapt lessons to support different learning styles, including pupils with SEN .
Help learners build confidence and improve their academic progress.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience .
Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners .
SEN experience .
Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
