Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fundraiser and Community Engagement Officer to join their vital team in Leicester . This role is crucial for developing and implementing strategies to increase donations and foster stronger relationships with the local community and potential supporters. You will play a key part in ensuring the sustainability of the organisation's impactful work through effective fundraising campaigns and engaging outreach initiatives, contributing to the continued delivery of essential services across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute diverse fundraising strategies, including grant applications, corporate partnerships, and individual giving campaigns.
- Organise and manage community events, fundraising drives, and awareness days to maximise engagement and income generation.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, supporters, and community stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and potential corporate social responsibility partners.
- Create compelling marketing and communication materials to promote fundraising activities and highlight the organisation's impact.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing fundraising strategies and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
