About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Fundraising Administrator to support their fundraising efforts from their office in Nottingham . This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of donations, maintaining accurate donor records, and providing essential administrative support to the fundraising team. You will be a key point of contact for donors, ensuring a positive experience and contributing to the cultivation of long-term relationships. Working within the Nottingham office, you will play an integral part in helping the charity achieve its financial goals and continue its vital work.
Key Responsibilities
- Process donations accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely acknowledgement and thank you communications to donors.
- Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support to the fundraising team, including preparing reports, mailings, and event logistics.
- Respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, and post in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role, preferably within the charity sector or finance.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, and experience with CRM or database systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a donor-centric approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy office environment in Nottingham .
