Our client is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Fundraising Administrator to support their vital work in Derby . This role is instrumental in ensuring the efficient processing of donations, maintaining accurate donor records, and providing essential administrative support to the fundraising team. You will play a key part in fostering positive relationships with supporters through prompt and accurate communication. Key Responsibilities
- Process all incoming donations accurately and efficiently, issuing thank-you letters and receipts promptly.
- Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with GDPR.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the fundraising team, including preparing mailings, reports, and presentations.
- Assist with the organisation and execution of fundraising events and activities.
- Respond to donor inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role, preferably within a fundraising or charity environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or donor databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
