This role is crucial for supporting the fundraising department in its efforts to secure vital donations and grants. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administrative running of fundraising activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential support to the team, thereby directly contributing to the charity's ability to deliver its essential services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the fundraising team, managing correspondence and scheduling meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records and financial information in the CRM database.
- Process donations, issue thank-you letters and receipts promptly, and assist with gift aid administration.
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Prepare reports on fundraising activities and donor engagement as required.
- Support the wider team with general administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or fundraising support role, preferably within the charity sector .
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in data management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
