Fundraising Events Manager (Remote)

About the Role

Our client, a significant charitable organization , is looking for a highly organized and creative Fundraising Events Manager to join their team on a fully remote basis . This role is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a portfolio of fundraising events that generate vital income and raise the charity's profile. You will manage all aspects of event logistics, from budget control and supplier management to marketing and post-event analysis, all within a virtual framework. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual calendar of fundraising events, ensuring alignment with the overall fundraising strategy and targets.
• Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue sourcing (if applicable), catering, AV, and staffing, ensuring seamless execution.
• Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenditures and maximizing return on investment for each event.
• Create and implement effective marketing and promotional plans to drive ticket sales, sponsorships, and attendee engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with event suppliers, sponsors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing and delivering successful fundraising events, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector .
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships remotely.
• Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
