About the Role
Our client, a dynamic charity focused on delivering essential services, is looking for an experienced and creative Fundraising Events Manager to lead their event strategy in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical in driving revenue through innovative fundraising events, from large-scale galas to community-based initiatives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of events, ensuring they are profitable, engaging, and aligned with the organization's mission. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute a diverse calendar of fundraising events, both in-person and virtual.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective event delivery.
- Develop innovative event concepts and marketing strategies to maximize attendance and fundraising revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and key stakeholders to secure support for events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, staffing, catering, and AV requirements in Newcastle upon Tyne .
Requirements
- Proven track record in event management, specifically within fundraising or the charity sector.
