Fundraising Events Manager

About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation in the Charity & Voluntary sector, is seeking a creative and experienced Fundraising Events Manager to orchestrate impactful events across Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK . This role is critical in generating vital funds and raising awareness for our client's mission. You will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from conceptualisation and planning to execution and post-event analysis. This hybrid position allows for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, ideal for managing complex logistics while maintaining a strong connection to the team and community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and execute a diverse portfolio of fundraising events, including galas, sponsored walks, community fairs, and corporate challenges.
• Develop innovative event concepts that align with the organisation's mission and fundraising goals in Leeds .
• Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, supplier negotiation, catering, AV, and staffing.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with event sponsors, donors, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee event marketing and promotion to maximise attendance and fundraising potential.
• Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effectiveness and achieving fundraising targets.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing success metrics and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management, particularly in fundraising or the charity sector .
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Exceptional organisational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity and a track record of developing successful and engaging event concepts.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
