About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Fundraising Manager to join their dedicated team. This pivotal role will focus on developing and implementing innovative fundraising strategies to support their vital charitable mission. The successful candidate will be instrumental in cultivating donor relationships, securing grants, and driving income generation through various channels. As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK, collaborating digitally with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve ambitious financial goals and expand the impact of our client's work across the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet and exceed annual income targets.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and grant-making foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including major gifts, legacies, and events.
- Prepare compelling funding proposals, reports, and presentations for potential and existing supporters.
- Oversee the administration of the donor database and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop engaging fundraising campaigns and marketing materials.
Requirements
- Proven track record in charity fundraising or development, with demonstrable success in generating income.
- Strong understanding of various fundraising methods, including major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and reports.
- Proficiency in using fundraising CRM systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
