Key Responsibilities
- Design, document, and prototype core gameplay systems, including combat, progression, and economy mechanics.
- Balance game systems to ensure a challenging yet rewarding player experience.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, artists, and narrative designers to implement and refine systems.
- Analyze player feedback and game data to identify areas for improvement and iteration.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and player expectations in system design.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in game design, with a focus on systems design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing engaging and balanced game mechanics.
- Proficiency in documenting design specifications clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with scripting languages or game engines (e.g., Unity , Unreal Engine ) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
