About the Role
Our client is offering an exciting Games Tester internship opportunity within their fully remote team. This role is designed for aspiring game enthusiasts looking to gain practical experience in the gaming industry . You will work closely with experienced QA professionals to identify and report defects, contributing to the quality and polish of our diverse game titles. This is a fantastic chance to learn valuable testing skills and understand the game development pipeline, all while working from home. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing test plans and test cases under the guidance of senior testers.
- Report any identified bugs, glitches, or usability issues encountered during testing.
- Learn and utilize bug tracking software to document findings accurately.
- Participate in playtesting sessions to provide feedback on gameplay and user experience.
- Collaborate with team members in a remote environment , asking questions and seeking guidance.
- Assist with regression testing as needed to confirm bug fixes.
Requirements
- A demonstrable passion for video games and a strong desire to learn game testing techniques.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles is a plus.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting .
