About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Games Tester to join their remote Quality Assurance team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the meticulous testing of new game features, ensuring they meet the highest quality benchmarks before release. Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test cases and scenarios to uncover functional, performance, and usability issues.
• Clearly document and report all identified bugs using designated tracking systems, including precise steps to reproduce.
• Conduct rigorous regression testing to ensure the stability of game builds after bug fixes.
• Liaise effectively with development teams to provide clear and concise feedback on issues.
• Assess gameplay mechanics, user experience, and overall game balance, offering constructive critique.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of testing strategies and quality standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated passion for video games and a comprehensive understanding of gameplay mechanics.
