Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Games Tester to join their established, fully remote QA team. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest quality for their diverse portfolio of games, from initial concept through to final release. This role involves deep dives into game mechanics, user interfaces, and overall performance, providing critical feedback that shapes the player's experience. As a remote team member, you'll collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across different disciplines, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation in game development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans for new and existing game titles.
• Identify, isolate, and report software defects with detailed descriptions, including steps to reproduce.
• Perform regression testing to confirm bug fixes and ensure product stability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, producers, and designers to ensure issues are understood and resolved efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Test multiplayer functionality, online services, and network stability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Games Tester or in a related QA role.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and various testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test case management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a remote setting , fostering strong teamwork.
