About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a detail-oriented Games Tester to join their established, fully remote UK team. Your primary focus will be on rigorous testing, bug identification, and providing constructive feedback to ensure an exceptional player experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of game builds across multiple platforms, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects with clarity.
• Validate game mechanics, user interface, audio, and overall game stability to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Work closely with game designers and developers to understand game features and reproduce reported issues.
• Create and execute exploratory tests to uncover unexpected bugs and edge cases that standard test cases might miss.
• Provide feedback on gameplay, balancing, and overall player experience to enhance game design.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role within the games industry.
• Strong understanding of different game genres and testing methodologies.
• Ability to meticulously record and report bugs, including steps to reproduce and severity levels.
• Comfortable using remote collaboration tools and managing tasks independently.
