Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Games Tester to join their innovative, fully remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and polish of exciting new game titles within the vibrant Gaming & Esports sector. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting defects, ensuring that players have the best possible experience. Operating remotely across the UK , you will collaborate closely with developers and other QA team members, working within a supportive and flexible environment that values precision and passion for gaming.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases and perform exploratory testing to uncover bugs and gameplay issues.
• Document all identified defects thoroughly, including detailed steps for reproduction.
• Assess game performance, stability, and graphical integrity.
• Communicate effectively with developers regarding bug status and resolution verification.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure bug fixes do not introduce new problems.
• Provide feedback on game mechanics, controls, and overall user experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Games Testing or Quality Assurance role is required.
• A strong passion for video games and a good understanding of current gaming trends.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise bug reports.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software like Jira is desirable.
