Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans and ad-hoc testing to uncover defects in game functionality, graphics, audio, and performance.
• Meticulously document all identified bugs, providing clear, reproducible steps and relevant details for the development team.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that bug fixes are effective and have not adversely affected other game elements.
• Collaborate effectively with game designers, programmers, and producers to provide constructive feedback on gameplay, balance, and user interface.
• Maintain accurate records of testing activities and progress, reporting findings to the QA lead or project manager.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies by sharing insights and suggestions.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a Games Tester or Quality Assurance role within the gaming sector.
• A solid understanding of game development pipelines and common testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems and test management software.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail.
