About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and sharp-eyed Games Tester to become a vital part of their fully remote team. This role is fundamental to ensuring our games meet the highest quality standards, involving rigorous testing and detailed bug reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases designed to verify game functionality, performance, and compatibility across various platforms.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects with detailed reproduction steps and severity assessments.
• Communicate effectively with developers to clarify issues and confirm the resolution of bugs.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that implemented fixes do not create new problems.
• Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, user interface, and overall player experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Games Tester or in a Quality Assurance role is preferred.
• A keen interest in video games and an exceptional eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and teamwork.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines in a remote environment across the UK .
