Job Description
Gas Service Only Engineer
Day Rate: £230 per day Location: Sandwell Contract: Social Housing
We are looking for a qualified Gas Service Only Engineer to work on a Social Housing contract covering Sandwell Council.
The contract covers a small 10-mile radius, meaning minimal travel between jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Service gas central heating systems
- Carry out full strip-down and clean boiler services
- Fit CO₂ and fire alarms
- Work independently and use your own initiative
- Complete all required paperwork and obtain customer signatures confirming work has been completed satisfactorily
Skills & Qualifications
- ACS Certified
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Previous Social Housing experience
- Own van, tools and relevant insurance
- Clean DBS
- Full UK clean manual driving licence

- Gas Safe card – front and back
- Public Liability insurance policy schedule
- DBS/CRB check
- Asbestos Awareness certificate
- Flue Gas Analyser calibration certificate
