Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They require self-employed heating engineers for a long-term social housing contract. Contract Details: Location: Wiltshire - SP5, SP2, SP3 and BA12 Contract: Social Housing Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs Commitment: Minimum of 3 set days per week Contract Length: Long term ongoing Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears. Rates:

• £300 a day pay rate Out of Hours Rates:
• Standby (Weekdays): £50 pay rate
• Standby (Weekends): £75 pay rate
• Completed Job: £35 pay rate
• Incomplete Job: £25 pay rate Travel Incentive £50 a day - Only applies to engineers who have to travel into patch (60mins+) Key Benefits:

Requirements

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
• ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• Panel Van (plain or sign written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• Clean DBS Check
• No more than 6 points on Driving Licence
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
• £2m Public Liability Insurance
