GCSE English Tutor - Liverpool
Are you an experienced English teacher or tutor looking for flexible work? Prospero Teaching are recruiting GCSE English Tutors in Liverpool!
The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic GCSE English Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged learners.
You'll work with individual students to strengthen their English skills, address gaps in their knowledge and support them towards their academic goals.
The role offers flexible hours and would suit a teacher or experienced tutor who enjoys working on a personalised basis.
Position Details:
- Location: Liverpool
- Position: GCSE English Tutor
- Hours: 5-15 hours per week
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Experience delivering GCSE English
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent desirable
- Previous 1:1 tutoring experience is advantageous
- Ability to tailor lessons to individual learners
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to obtain a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
