Generator Engineer - Shifts

About Rehlko

Rehlko is a global leader in power and energy resilience. Formerly known as Kohler Energy, Rehlko has continually shaped the way the world powers homes, industries, and critical infrastructure.

As part of this exciting growth, WB Power Services has now become Rehlko. This transition marks our evolution into an OEM, allowing us to design, build, and deliver complete power solutions from the ground up. It’s a transformation that strengthens our technical capability, expands our product range, and deepens the value we offer to our clients.

We retain the strong, values-led foundation of a family business, while being empowered by the scale, resources, and global vision of Rehlko. For our people, this means new opportunities, bigger projects, and a chance to shape the future of resilient, sustainable energy.

The Role

As a Shift Generator Engineer, you will work on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern and be based predominantly at our Walkden depot in Manchester.

This is primarily a depot-based position, where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing our fleet of diesel generators. You will work on generators returning from hire as well as preparing, testing and maintaining equipment ready for its next deployment.

You will play an important role in ensuring our generator fleet remains reliable, safe and available for our customers, completing everything from routine servicing and inspections through to more complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

Although the role is approximately 95% depot-based, there may occasionally be a requirement to provide engineering support at customer sites across the North West. A company van will be available when site attendance is required.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Generator Engineer looking for the stability of a predominantly depot-based position combined with a 4 on, 4 off working pattern.
