This role is integral to interpreting seismic and other geophysical data to identify and characterize subsurface geological structures and potential hydrocarbon reservoirs. You will utilize advanced processing and interpretation techniques to support exploration and development activities. Key Responsibilities

• Process and interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to map geological structures and identify prospects.
• Perform attribute analysis, seismic inversion, and velocity modeling to enhance subsurface understanding.
• Integrate geophysical data with geological and well log information.
• Utilize specialized software packages for seismic data processing and interpretation.
• Prepare detailed geophysical reports and present findings to exploration teams and management.
• Contribute to the development of exploration strategies and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geophysics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in geophysical data analysis within the upstream Oil & Gas sector .
• Proficiency with seismic processing and interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, OpendTect, HampsonRussell).
• Strong understanding of seismic acquisition, processing workflows, and geological concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively in Nottingham .
