Key Responsibilities
- Process and quality control seismic, gravity, and magnetic data using specialized software.
- Interpret geophysical data to delineate subsurface structures and identify potential prospects.
- Integrate geophysical interpretations with geological and well data to build comprehensive subsurface models.
- Utilize advanced visualization and interpretation tools to enhance data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and reservoir engineers to provide critical data insights for exploration and development decisions.
- Develop and maintain databases of geophysical information and ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- Degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in processing and interpreting geophysical data, specifically seismic data.
- Proficiency with geophysical software packages (e.g., Petrel, OpendTect, Kingdom Suite).
- Strong understanding of geophysical principles and their application in the Oil & Gas industry .
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
