About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of laboratory experiments to test new chemical processes and formulations.
• Collect, record, and analyse experimental data, preparing clear and concise reports.
• Support the scale-up of laboratory processes to pilot plant trials.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe and organised working environment.
• Collaborate with R&D chemists and engineers on project-specific tasks.
• Research scientific literature and patents relevant to ongoing projects.

Requirements

• BSc or BEng degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Strong understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Excellent laboratory skills and experience with experimental design.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for R&D and innovation, based in Brighton .
