Graduate Civil Engineer - Geotechnical

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of site investigations, including trial pits and borehole logging.
• Undertake geotechnical laboratory testing and interpret the results.
• Perform foundation design calculations (e.g., pad foundations, piled foundations) under supervision.
• Prepare factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.
• Support senior engineers in developing ground improvement strategies and retaining wall designs.
• Ensure all site activities and design work adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• A recent degree in Civil Engineering with a strong focus on geotechnical engineering.
• Basic understanding of soil mechanics principles and geotechnical investigation techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD and basic geotechnical analysis tools.
• Willingness to undertake site visits and fieldwork as required.
• Strong desire to learn and develop expertise in geotechnical engineering.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
