About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join their specialized Water Resources team in Milton Keynes . You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals on projects related to flood risk assessment, drainage design, and water quality management. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the hydraulic modelling and analysis of water systems and flood events.
- Contribute to the design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and wastewater management solutions.
- Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, assessments, and design documentation.
- Conduct data collection and analysis for water resource projects.
- Participate in site visits and liaise with project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements in water engineering.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A strong academic record with a keen interest in water resources and environmental engineering.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic principles and fluid mechanics.
- Familiarity with relevant software, such as AutoCAD or GIS, is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
