Graduate Junior Lawyer

Our client is seeking ambitious and diligent Graduate Junior Lawyers to join their prestigious legal practice in Edinburgh . You will work under the supervision of experienced solicitors and partners, assisting with case preparation, legal research, and client communication. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedents.
• Assist in the drafting of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Prepare case files, evidence bundles, and court documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering information.
• Attend client meetings and court hearings as required, under supervision.
• Support fee earners in managing caseloads and meeting client deadlines.

Requirements

• A law degree (LLB or equivalent) and a completed Legal Practice Course (LPC) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of core legal principles and various areas of law.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and standard office software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
