About the Role

Our client is seeking aspiring and diligent Graduate Quantity Surveyors to join their respected construction consultancy in Norwich . This role is designed to provide a solid foundation in commercial and contract management within the construction industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced Quantity Surveyors, assisting with cost estimation, contract administration, and financial control of various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop key skills in a supportive and dynamic environment, contributing to the successful delivery of significant construction ventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Support in the administration of contracts, including managing variations and claims.
• Help monitor project costs and track expenditure against budget.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and valuations.

Requirements

• A recent degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A fundamental understanding of construction processes and cost management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
