We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Hackney that is looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about education and enjoys working with young people. You will work alongside experienced teachers, supporting students both in and outside of the classroom.

The Role

Supporting teachers with lessons and classroom activities Working with students individually and in small groups Providing additional support to students who may need extra help with their learning Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment Assisting with classroom preparation and resources Supporting students with their academic and personal development Building positive relationships with students and staffThe Ideal Candidate

A recent graduate Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential Passionate about education and supporting young people Confident, enthusiastic and approachable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, resilient and able to work as part of a team Considering a future career in teaching or educationWhy Apply?
