Grant Funding Specialist - Remote

About the Role

Our client, a respected organization in the Charity & Voluntary sector , is seeking a meticulous and experienced Grant Funding Specialist to join their team on a fully remote basis. This critical role will focus on identifying, researching, and securing funding from grant-making trusts and foundations to support our various projects and operational needs. You will be responsible for crafting compelling grant proposals, managing applications, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. This position is ideal for an individual with exceptional writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for securing resources that enable vital charitable work to continue and expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential grant opportunities from trusts, foundations, and other institutional funders.
• Develop and write high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, applications, and reports.
• Manage the full grant application process, ensuring all deadlines are met and requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintain accurate records of grant applications, awards, and reporting obligations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key foundation program officers.
• Monitor awarded grants to ensure compliance with funder guidelines and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, specifically within the charity sector .
• Demonstrated success in securing funding from trusts and foundations.
