Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and model the impact of offshore wind farm generation on grid stability and performance.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective grid connection and integration of renewable energy assets.
• Liaise with grid operators, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth integration.
• Identify technical risks and challenges related to grid integration and propose mitigation solutions.
• Contribute to the development of grid connection standards and best practices for renewable energy projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on power system dynamics, control systems, and grid codes.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in grid integration studies, power systems analysis, and renewable energy connections, specifically offshore wind .
• In-depth knowledge of grid codes, network codes, and regulatory frameworks governing grid connections.
• Proficiency in power system simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, essential for a remote role .
