Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan the integration of smart grid technologies, including SCADA systems , AMI, and grid automation solutions.
- Develop strategies for upgrading existing grid infrastructure to improve reliability, efficiency, and resilience.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for grid modernization projects.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze grid performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with industry standards and safety regulations for the energy sector .
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in grid modernization , smart grids, or power system planning.
- Familiarity with grid control systems, distribution automation , and network analysis software.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy integration challenges and solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid , collaborative setting.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
