We are recruiting an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join a local authority highways team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with highways or traffic management experience seeking ongoing work.

The Role

Pay: £18.14-£21.39 per hour (Umbrella), depending on experience Location: Leicester (LE4) Contract: Ongoing

Responsibilities

Setting out roadwork signage, cones and traffic management equipment Implementing and maintaining safe traffic management measures Supporting highway maintenance and construction activities Erecting posts, backfilling and reinstating highways Maintaining safe working areas for road users and site operatives

About You

Previous traffic management or highway maintenance experience Full UK Category B driving licence - essential NRSWA, CSCS and LANTRA qualifications desirable Practical experience and a strong understanding of highway safety
