About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Gym Manager to oversee the operations of their premier fitness facility in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional member experiences, driving sales, and maintaining the highest standards of facility management. This role requires a leader with a strong understanding of the fitness industry, excellent operational skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming and results-driven environment for the Tyne and Wear community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily gym operations, including staff scheduling, performance, and training.
• Drive membership sales and retention strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure the facility is impeccably maintained, safe, and equipped with up-to-date machinery.
• Develop and implement engaging fitness programs and promotions for members.
• Handle member inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally in Newcastle upon Tyne .

Requirements

• Proven experience in gym management or a similar leadership role within the fitness industry.
• Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, and operational management.
• Strong understanding of fitness principles, equipment, and class programming.
