About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and energetic Gym Manager to lead their flagship fitness centre in Liverpool . This comprehensive role involves overseeing all aspects of gym operations, including staff management, member services, sales, marketing, and facility maintenance. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and motivating environment, driving membership growth, and ensuring a consistently high-quality experience for all patrons, thereby strengthening the gym's position as a leading fitness destination in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of fitness professionals, reception staff, and support personnel.
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive membership acquisition and retention.
• Oversee budget management, financial performance, and operational costs.
• Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
• Implement and monitor customer service initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

• Proven experience in gym management or a similar senior role within the fitness industry.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
• Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, and achieving financial targets.
• Excellent knowledge of fitness operations, programming, and health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in gym management software and reporting tools.
• A relevant qualification in business management, leisure, or fitness is preferred.
