About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gym Operations Manager to lead their fitness facility in Sheffield . You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of gym operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and motivating environment for members and staff. This role requires a strong leader with excellent customer service skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to manage budgets, staff, and day-to-day activities efficiently, contributing to the gym's success and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the gym, including staff scheduling, member services, and facility maintenance.
• Lead, train, and motivate the gym team to achieve performance targets and high service standards.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and oversee the upkeep of fitness equipment.
• Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Contribute to marketing and sales initiatives to drive membership growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in gym management or a similar leadership role in the fitness industry.
• Strong understanding of gym operations, fitness trends, and health and safety compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with budget management and operational efficiency.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
