About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Gym Operations Manager to lead their fitness facility in Stoke-on-Trent . This role requires a hands-on individual responsible for the day-to-day management of the gym, ensuring a welcoming and motivating environment for all members. You will oversee staff, manage facility operations, drive membership sales, and implement strategies to enhance the member experience, contributing significantly to the centre's success and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of gym operations, including facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of fitness professionals, receptionists, and cleaning staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership numbers and retention rates.
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times, addressing member inquiries and feedback promptly.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling operational costs within budget.
• Plan and execute gym events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in gym management or a senior supervisory role within the fitness industry.
• Proven track record in membership sales and customer retention strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment, programming, and health & safety regulations.
