About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Gym Operations Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of their fitness facility in Sunderland . You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and member experience, while supervising the front desk and gym floor staff. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily operations, handle member inquiries, and contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gym operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Supervise and support gym staff, providing guidance on customer service, operational procedures, and safety protocols.
• Manage facility cleanliness and ensure all fitness equipment is well-maintained and in safe working order.
• Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and professionally.
• Assist with membership sales, promotions, and ensuring a seamless member experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the fitness or leisure industry.
• Strong understanding of gym operations, health and safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using gym management software and basic administrative tasks.
