About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to join their reputable club in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for coaching gymnasts of various ages and skill levels, focusing on skill development, safety, and fostering a love for the sport. This position is ideal for someone passionate about gymnastics, dedicated to athlete progression, and committed to creating a positive and encouraging training environment within the club’s facilities in Edinburgh .

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions for recreational and competitive groups.
• Develop gymnasts' skills, strength, flexibility, and coordination in a safe and structured manner.
• Ensure a safe training environment, adhering to all gymnastics safety protocols and club policies.
• Monitor individual gymnast progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s development and club activities.
• Assist in organising and running gym events, showcases, and competitions.

Requirements

• Relevant gymnastics coaching qualifications (e.g., British Gymnastics UKCC Level 1 or equivalent).
• Previous experience coaching gymnastics at various levels.
• Thorough understanding of gymnastics techniques, progressions, and safety measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for gymnastics and working with young people.
