Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and appealing menus for various events, considering client needs, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability.
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including inventory, food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Control food costs and wastage, implementing efficient stock management and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of culinary services on-site.
- Maintain exceptional quality control throughout the food production and service process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in menu design, costing, and large-scale event catering.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor kitchen staff.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
- Culinary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
