About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Head Coach to lead their youth Football Academy in Brighton . You will be responsible for the technical and tactical development of players, overseeing the coaching staff, and ensuring the academy aligns with the club's overall philosophy and long-term vision. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive football training programmes focused on player development (technical, tactical, physical, and psychological).
• Lead and mentor a team of assistant coaches and support staff, ensuring high standards of coaching delivery.
• Scout and identify talented young players who align with the academy's philosophy and requirements.
• Manage player welfare and ensure a supportive environment that promotes growth both on and off the pitch.
• Collaborate with club management, scouts, and parents to ensure cohesive player development pathways.
• Oversee match-day preparations and tactical strategies for academy teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in youth football coaching, with a strong track record in player development.
• UEFA A Licence coaching qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate coaching staff and young athletes.
• Deep understanding of modern coaching methodologies and football tactics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in talent identification and recruitment within football academies is highly desirable.
