About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and inspiring Head Coach to lead their esteemed Youth Football Academy in Manchester . This vital role focuses on nurturing young talent, developing players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and personal growth, preparing them for higher levels of play. You will be responsible for implementing a cohesive coaching philosophy across all age groups within the academy, fostering a positive and challenging learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee the academy's coaching curriculum and player development programs for various age groups.
• Lead and mentor a team of assistant coaches, ensuring consistency in coaching methodology and high standards of practice.
• Conduct high-quality training sessions focused on technical skill development, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.
• Scout and recruit talented young players, assessing their potential and suitability for the academy.
• Manage team logistics for matches, including travel, equipment, and player welfare.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team environment that encourages player development both on and off the field.

Requirements

• UEFA 'A' or equivalent coaching license required; UEFA Pro License preferred.
• Significant experience in coaching youth football, with a proven track record of player development.
• Demonstrated understanding of child psychology and player welfare best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Ability to identify and nurture talent effectively.
