About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all golf operations, including the pro shop, tee time reservations, and tournament coordination.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase golf-related revenue, focusing on merchandise sales, lesson programs, and event bookings.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the performance of golf operations staff, including assistant professionals and shop attendants.
• Maintain strong relationships with club members, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Oversee course marshaling and pace of play initiatives to ensure a positive golfing experience for all players.
• Manage inventory and merchandising within the pro shop, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of golf equipment and apparel.

Requirements

• Certified PGA Professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a private club setting.
• Proven track record of success in managing golf operations, staff, and budgets.
• Demonstrated expertise in golf instruction, merchandising, and tournament management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a passion for customer service.
• In-depth knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and industry best practices.
