About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and charismatic Head Golf Professional to lead their prestigious golf club in the heart of London . This pivotal role involves overseeing all golf operations, including retail, instruction, and course management, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests alike. You will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant golf community, driving engagement, and upholding the club's reputation for excellence, working collaboratively with club management and staff to achieve strategic objectives within a world-class sporting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the golf shop, including inventory, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive schedule of golf events, tournaments, and clinics for members of all skill levels.
• Provide high-quality golf instruction and coaching to individual members and groups, improving their game and satisfaction.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Golf Professionals and other golf operations staff, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with members, addressing concerns and enhancing their overall club experience.
• Oversee course condition reporting and liaise with groundskeeping staff to ensure optimal playability and presentation.

Requirements

• PGA Professional qualification or equivalent recognized certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior golf operations role, preferably within a private club setting.
• Proven track record in retail management, event coordination, and golf instruction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of golf rules, etiquette, and course management principles.
• Proficiency in golf operations software and POS systems.
