About the Role

Our client, a prestigious golf club in Newcastle upon Tyne , is searching for a highly skilled and customer-focused Head Golf Professional . This leadership position involves managing all aspects of the golf operations, including professional shop retail, golf instruction, member and guest services, and staff supervision. You will be instrumental in enhancing the golfing experience for members and visitors, driving revenue, and maintaining the club's reputation for excellence in the Tyne and Wear region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the game and a dedication to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the golf professional shop, including inventory and sales.
• Provide high-quality golf instruction and clinics for players of all levels.
• Oversee tournament operations, from planning to execution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and golf staff.
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service and course etiquette are upheld.

Requirements

• PGA Qualified or equivalent professional golf certification.
• Demonstrated experience in golf operations management and retail.
• Proven ability to deliver effective golf instruction and coaching.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and equipment.
