About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Golf Professional to lead the golf operations at a premier facility in Leicester . You will be instrumental in shaping the player experience, managing all aspects of the golf shop, and driving the strategic vision for the club's golf offerings. This role demands a blend of business acumen, exceptional customer service, and a deep understanding of golf mechanics and management, contributing to the club's reputation as a top-tier golfing destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily golf operations, including tee time management, course marshalling, and player assistance.
• Manage and merchandise the golf shop inventory, ensuring profitability and an appealing product selection.
• Develop and implement golf programs, lessons, and clinics for members and guests of all skill levels.
• Recruit, train, and manage golf operations staff, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
• Organize and execute club tournaments, social events, and member competitions to enhance engagement.

Requirements

• PGA Professional qualification or equivalent recognized golf industry certification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a golf professional role, with proven leadership skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in golf instruction, club fitting, and retail management.
• Strong understanding of golf course operations and tournament administration.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
