Work with a well-established contractor delivering projects across London and the Home Counties within the infrastructure, utilities, specialist access solutions and construction sectors. With a turnover of £15m-£20m, a strong order book and long-standing relationships with major blue-chip clients, the business continues to invest heavily in its future growth.

Due to succession planning, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Commercial to oversee and develop the commercial function, providing strategic leadership whilst remaining involved in the day-to-day commercial management of key contracts.

The Role

Lead and develop the commercial team. Take ownership of the commercial performance of multiple contracts and business units. Oversee cost management, valuations, forecasting, variations and final accounts. Support senior leadership with commercial strategy and business growth initiatives. Drive profitability across both existing and new projects. Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Mentor and develop junior commercial staff. About You Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role. Strong background within infrastructure, utilities, scaffolding, construction, civil engineering or related sectors. Commercially astute with a track record of improving business performance. Experienced managing teams and developing people. Comfortable operating strategically whilst remaining hands-on when required. Strong contractual and negotiation skills. What's on Offer? Basic salary up to £140,000. Attractive benefits package.
